Born and reared in the hills of southwestern Pennsylvania. Graduated from Penn State University in 1961 with BS degree in engineering. Employed by Pratt & Whitney Division of United Technologies for many years.

Entered the residential construction field in 1993. Worked for several general and remodeling contractors. Established my own residential light remodeling and repair business in 1995 with focus on light electrical, plumbing and carpentry. Specialized in troubleshooting and problem solving.

Engineering background and hands-on construction experience over those 6-7 years provided the foundation for my home inspection business. I completed a new construction code certification training course in late 1999 and attained full ICC/IRC certification early in 2000.

Currently a full member of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and GAHI (Georgia Association of Home Inspectors). ICC/IRC (International Code Council/ International Residential Code) certified and have completed well over 1000 inspections to ASHI and GAHI standards. Recently received Radon Measurement Certification in 2006 from NEHA-NRPP (National Environmental Health Association).
